Kristin Shepherd, MD, FAAP, joined the team at Great Destinations Pediatrics in Peoria, Arizona, in 2002 and now runs the office along with Dr. Prentice.
Dr. Shepherd graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and minors in chemistry and Spanish in 1995. She moved on to Northwestern University Medical School in Evanston, Illinois, where she graduated in 1999 with her medical degree. Dr. Shepherd completed her internship and residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in 2002. She is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
